I am a native Nevadan, born and raised in Las Vegas. My husband Craig and I raised our children and now our grandchildren here.
My parents have resided in the same house in Charleston Heights since the early 1960s.
While in high school, my first job was pumping gas at my dad’s Texaco station until I joined the US Air Force. While active duty, I completed my B.S. in Professional Aeronautics. After separating from the military, I worked for a Property and Casualty insurance company in San Antonio, Texas assisting those affected by natural disasters and catastrophes during which I went back to school and earned a Masters in Aerospace Science.
I returned to Las Vegas in 1998 and when the Afghanistan surge was initiated, I re-enlisted in the Nevada Army National Guard.
With deep roots and loyalty to this community, I am concerned, as you are, that we are not being properly represented by our elected officials. For this reason, I am running to be your representative in the Nevada State Assembly from District 34 because I know what it means to serve and feel the call to serve the citizens of Nevada.
We need state leaders who know what it means to serve “We The People” and not special interests and big donors. I want to earn your vote by ensuring that I’ll represent you and our state with integrity and honor. I will do what is right rather than what is easy.
I humbly ask for your support and prayers during the June 14, 2022 Primary and the November 8, 2022 General Election.
To quote the great President Ronald Reagan,
“I’m not a politician by profession. I am a citizen who decided I had to be personally involved.”
I am running for Nevada Assembly District 34 and will champion the following:
